Empowering Artists with Affordable Spaces
We know that accessible space for artists is one of the great ongoing challenges in the Charlotte metro region. We are pleased to offer our Armour Street Theatre and Huntersville scene shop at affordable prices when we are not active in there ourselves.
Packages at Armour Street include full or partial day rentals, options for tech support, and access to either the theatre alone or the entire building, including dressing rooms. At our scene shop, you may rent per show or join us for annual access at a monthly membership fee (strictly limited availability).

Arts & Science Council’s Venue Access Grant Program
As a welcoming venue in ASC’s Venue Access Grant Program, we are proud to support affordable access to spaces for arts, science, and history programming in Mecklenburg County.
Through this program, eligible organizations and artists can apply to use our space for cultural programming. Venue costs are covered by Mecklenburg County and administered through the Arts & Science Council.
