Davidson Community Players is now enrolling for new sections of writing classes designed exclusively for adults! In Dramatic Writing, the instructor will facilitate interactive, exploratory workshop-style class sessions for those interested in writing for the stage or screen. The workshop is perfect for anyone who is looking to start a new project, workshop a draft, or just wants accountability for their writing process. Over a 10-week term, participants will:

  • Participate in writing exercises designed to generate new ideas or move through writer's block

  • Develop ideas into working drafts or polish drafts

  • Set writing goals and have accountability throughout the session

  • Share and receive critical feedback from instructor and workshop participants 

  • Have opportunities for actors to read work out loud, and workshop with diverse perspectives

CLASSES MON 7:30-9:00pm: Classes will occur once a week beginning Sep 16 and ending Nov 18. There will be 8 total classes with 2 off weeks at the discretion of the instructor.

EXPERIENCE: No experience necessary; beginners may inquire prior to enrollment by emailing steve@davidsoncommunityplayers.org.

REFUND POLICY: Class tuition will be refunded in full up to 7 days prior to the class start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.
