Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
If you're looking for an adult class that exclusively involves scene work, DCP has a perfect offering for you! In Scene Study for Adults, your instructor will facilitate interactive, energizing workshop style class sessions that focus on rehearsing and acting in scenes from contemporary American theatre. Over a 10-week term, participants will learn how to:
Analyze scripts to make choices for the rehearsal process.
Work with scene partners and instructor to emulate a professional production experience.
Improve flexibility in the rehearsal room.
Strengthen skills of performance technique.
CLASSES TUES 7:00-9:00. Classes will occur once a week beginning Sep 17 and ending Nov 19. There will be 8 total classes and 2 weeks off to be determined by the instructor and participants.
EXPERIENCE: Some prior acting experience preferred; beginners may inquire prior to enrollment by emailing steve@davidsoncommunityplayers.org.
REFUND POLICY: Class tuition will be refunded in full up to 7 days prior to the class start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.
